Scooter’s Coffee launches tropical Sleighcation holiday menu

I find the decision to mix peppermint and butterscotch with pineapple and coconut refreshing. Anna Faktorovich, the Chief Marketing Officer of Scooter’s Coffee, says, "Holiday menus can start to blur together. We wanted ours to surprise our guests." The menu includes a "sleighcation" vibe for customers wanting a beach day in December. App users get first sips beginning Oct. 29, but the full menu arrives at all 900+ locations on Nov. 1, and new users can earn a free medium drink after their first purchase of $5 or more. This early access period for the tropical lineup ends on Oct. 31 for those ordering through the mobile app.

Drink details and reward limits

The Colada Craze Red Bull Infusion combines Red Bull Yellow Edition with pineapple, coconut, sweet cream, and a layer of coconut cold foam. I think the Sleighcation Pineapple Smoothie works well, especially since you can make it a Vertigo Smoothie with Red Bull Yellow Edition to beat the 3 p.m. holiday slump. Traditionalists can choose the Butterscotch Caramelicious, which includes whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and salted toffee pieces. The Candy Cane Chaos Mocha has espresso, mocha, and peppermint under whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and peppermint chips, but you can also order it with sugar-free peppermint and mocha flavors. The Candy Cane Chaos Hot Chocolate uses the same ingredients but without the espresso. The Bah Humbug Butterscotch Muffin has butterscotch, cinnamon, and vanilla under a crackly sugar top. The Butterscotch Chai includes butterscotch and warm chai spice under a layer of whipped cream and salted toffee pieces. The Stocking Stuffer Sugar Cookies are buttery and bite-size with red and green sprinkles. The Santa’s Cookie Latte uses white mocha and cookie butter with green sprinkles. Sugar-free flavoring is available for those who order the peppermint and mocha options. I find the app reward limitations frustrating because the coupon expires in 14 days and excludes modifications or prepackaged beverages from the deal. The app reward requires a scan or mobile order ahead at participating locations.
