New roasting and bakery space

Lovr Boys Cafe & Roastery opened in late August at 9606 Bernpine Court, Unit 115, in Bonita Springs, Florida. The 2,000-square-foot facility contains a dedicated roasting room, an onsite bakery, a kitchen, and 400 square feet of seating beneath 17-foot ceilings. Adirondack-green walls, wicker pendant lights, and handmade Moroccan tile in checkered patterns decorate the space, which also contains potted monstera, bird-of-paradise plants, and other greenery. Signature hearts adorn the bags and cups. Caleb Linn, a co-founder, roasts fair-trade coffees in an adjoining room using a 15-pound-capacity BC-15 Buckeye Coffee roaster. He sources green coffee from InterAmerican Coffee for chocolatey, sweet, and bold profiles. Anna Linn, Caleb’s sister and co-owner, leads the bakery program and makes sourdough bread, pastries, bagels, cinnamon rolls, sandwiches, and toasts from scratch for the shop’s menu. The shop uses a terracotta-colored La Marzocco Linea espresso machine and Mahlkonig grinders at the butcher-block bar.

Roots in Naples and Tampa

The siblings started the business in 2022 after Anna Linn suggested the name on a lark, inspired in part by song lyrics and in part by the affectionate teasing of her little brother. Anna calls Caleb "the Loverboy" because he is a sweetie. Caleb began his coffee career at a Starbucks in Naples before he moved to Tampa for college and worked at an independent cafe called Felicitous Coffee, where he developed an appreciation for the community side of business. Caleb previously roasted coffee on a small fluid-bed machine inside a local grocery store cafe. Anna turned her interest in home baking into professional work at a local cafe and through selling cakes online before joining Caleb in the business. The family business includes artwork; their mother created the company logo behind the bar. The siblings aim to grow their wholesale roasting business and plan to open more cafes, potentially in Naples, within the next two years. Anna says the Naples community is important because it brought them to where they are today.
