In a nutshell, The Nova Cafe donates coffee grounds which are picked up by volunteers from the The Bozeman Youth Initiative and transported using "green" power (using bicycles and bike carts)! These nitrogren-rich grounds are added to multiple compost sites located in Bozeman; one at the City Hall Community Garden and other piles hosted by local gardeners in the community.
